Thanks for these good reminders and ideas. I tried morning pages when I dipped a toe in Cameron's The Artist's Way, and my hand can barely physically do three pages. Currently I type my gratitude / prayer / rants / intercession etc., but I strongly believe in the power of journaling. Perhaps with the concept morning pages are a "jog," not a run, I could write and allow the slower pace. But I think much faster than I write--how to capture all the thoughts as you describe in this valuable writing practice? What I seek is not only time to journal, technically I have that, but uninterrupted quiet time to hear myself think. God and I are working through this together. I'll save these ideas to revisit.
